Audit and Advisory Services provides independent, objective assurance and consulting services designed to add value and improve UCSB's operations. We help UCSB accomplish its objectives by bringing a systematic, disciplined approach to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes.

The University of California Internal Audit Charter provides the foundation for the Internal Audit functions, authority, independence, scope of operations, and standards for professional responsibilities. Internal Audit functions under the policies established by The Regents of the University of California and by University management under delegated authority.
